On Sept 22, I will arrive in Miami and drive to Bartow, FL, to
meet with my friend Bill McMullen, with whom I will stay for the next 2 days.
During those days, besides doing some work on the orange groves
with Bill, I need to do a flight check with the aircraft renting company, and
get the airplane ready for the trip.
Here the aircraft we have booked for the 3 weeks trip.
On Sept 25, Werner, my companion for many years on these flying
trips, will arrive in Miami.
And
next morning, we will take off from the Miami area and start part 2 of Project
48, to visit the 28 missing states we did not visit on the autumn 2012 tour.
This place and this plane look familiar :)
