Sept 26, 2013, from Bartow Florida to Fairhope, Alabama. Finally good weather....

We turn in the rental car...

...and are ready to leave!!!

Compared to previous days, weather is OK, good enough but not that OK!!

Strong head winds slow us down, but they bring the good weather, so we can't complain

In Perry, FL, we use the airport courtesy car for lunch in town

....and a good lunch it was....

Stay high to avoid the antennas!!!

....where I can be (almost) all by myself!!!

After landing in Fairhole, Alabama, our 2nd state on this trip, we check in at the hotel and go for dinner and a couple of beers
Dinner is seafood, grilled shrimps from the Gulf

 and the beers are quite different from what we are used to drink.

 After dinner, Werner can't resist to the usual smoke.... on the porch, by very enjoyable temperatures

The beauty of having no car tonight, is that you can drink and not drive, even if fuel is cheap.

The walk back to the hotel is only a few blocks, and we look forward to the next day flights which should take us to Mississippi and Louisiana
