impressive pile !
Window Rock (Arizona) is a small city in the indian
territory. Very visible by the waiters and the guests around us. More photos on the "Photos" section, and note they are not of the best
quality, as they were made in a “hiding” mode.
The receptionist of our hotel helps us organize a transfer to the airport,
... and the “handyman” does the driving. Thank you.
We refill in Gallup, New Mexico, our entry point into the last of the States we will visit on the 1st part of the Project.

7000 ft runway are just long enough for our C172.

its 4 engines in the front.
Click on the video below to see the full train in movement with its numerous freight cars.
At FL 95 we fly over Albuquerque (New Mexico) and cross the
Rio Grande to the north, to land in Santa Fe (New Mexico) on 8300 ft of runway.... again just long enough for us.
Military equipment on the ground in Santa Fe, as well as many private jets and other large turboprops.
This week end in Albuquerque will be the annual balloon festival, and many onlookers are already showing up.
While we do the paper work, we observe the driver of a limousine waiting for his passengers and pampering his windshield. We get our rental car and drive a scenic route north of
Sante Fe.
More photos on this drive in the “Photos” section of this
blog .
