Oct 2, 2013, from Oswego, NY to Lewiston, Maine

Kim is the county Family Court Judge for the county of Oswego, NY.
128.000 people live in this county.
I had the privilege to be invited by Kim to assist on proceedings this morning, before continuying with our flight eastbound to Maine

Here we can see her with her robe, and also with the attorneys preparing a case

The airplane was parked overnight at Oswego, NY

and we continued eastbound to Vermont, then New Hampshire
The trees are changing colors, it is wonderful
We are also very lucky, according to the locals, one year ago, Oct 2, 2012, they had snow where today we enjoy temperatures in the high 70's and low 80's (for the europeans, around 25 C)
this is 5 to 15 F higher than normal for this time of the year !!!

Not the typical european bank, a drive through version

We have lunch at D'Angelo's in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
D'Angelo's is not really the gastronomical experience we were expecting, but this allowed us to survive till we reached Lewiston, Maine

the small bird in the background is our C172, N5328Z

Soon we reach the East Coast, south of Portland, Maine
and follow the coast northbound

This house was for sale, but not in my budget...

In Lewistion. Maine, we land for the day and found this Super Constellation (all stripped down, no engines). We need to find out what the deal is.
We take our rental car and drive into town to find a hotel and some dinner. It is still quite warm for the season, see the indications on the car's dashboard.
Dinner is at J's Oysters, a place downtown Portland, maine, where Werner has been on previous trips.
It was worth the detour...

Bon appétit,
