Sept 18, 2012, We are getting ready to leave

This morning we drove to 52F, the NorthWest Regional Airport, north of Dallas.
The check ride on the C172SP, N985GE was un-eventful, all went OK.

We bought our charts and maps at "Tina's Pilot Shop" on the other side of the runway. Her smile is contagious.... and she had all the charts and maps we needed.
Thank you, Tina, and don't forget the order Werner placed with you today, we'll  be back in a couple of weeks.

For dinner tonight, Bernadette et Philippe cooked Texas size steaks. Medium rare !A few beers and these will help fight jet lag...

Now we will dream of the first take-off tomorrow morning on our way north to finally kick off "Project48USA", 1st part.
