Sept 21, from Sioux City (Iowa) to Buffalo (Minnesota)

After a "Plastic" breakfast in our hotel in Omaha (Nebraska), we head north towards Iowa

On the way north back to Sioux City (Iowa), where we had left the airplane for the night, we drive again a scenic route with lots of nice views.

We crossed the Missouri River from Nebraska into Iowa, and before returning our rental car, we needed to gas it up. We parked next to a RV pulling his private car and bicycles behind him.

TOO MANY SIGNS MAY KILL THE MESSAGE WANT TO  CONVEY CONVEY

We take off with N985GE from Sioux City (Iowa) with a 17 kts headwind right down the runway,  northbound,  just behind as small private jet.

Lots of nice views from 2000 ft over ground, with the landscape getting greener and greener.

Wind energy seems to be getting more and               The cattle is confined inside fences, getting
more popular, as we cross large areas                       ready to produce steaks which we might
covered with dozens of wind mills.                           at during Part 2 of Project 48 next year.
If not, they will end up as hamburgers.

Approaching Minnesota, the landscape changes, we start seeing small lakes.

We are greeted in Buffalo (Minnesota) by a strong rain shower.

Mary Ann is waiting for us at the Buffalo airport with her electric Nissan LEAF car to drive us home to reunite with Bill for a welcome drink and dinner.

Guess what we will have for dinner... Another dosis of protein
